PARKING: For parking, the primary parking lot we have used in the past for this event will be at least partially unavailable as it is now being used for the filming some scenes for a movie. The Parking Company of America should allow entry while spaces are available. When that lot is full, you will be directed to the immediately adjacent lot.
One can enter the immediately adjacent lot either of two ways:
(1. Proceed as though entering the lot, but Instead of pulling up to the ticket booth, take the lane to the right that circles the lot. At the rear of the lot you will take a right over some railroad tracks into the adjoining public lot. Normally one would purchase a ticket from the machine in the lot and place it on the dashboard. In recognition of our event, however, Parking Company of America will not be ticketing that lot, so for those parking in this lot, do not buy a ticket to place in your dashboard.
(2. Proceed as though parking in the "gulch" as in past events, but instead of going to the ticket gate continue on the road bearing to the left in front of the lot. At the end of the parking lot, bear right and proceed straight ahead for a block. Park in the lot you enter immediately after crossing over the railroad tracks. Again, do not buy a ticket to place in your dashboard as you will not be ticketed. (This route essentially follows underneath the elevated highway on the side of the Sam Nunn and Richard B. Russell Buildings.
