The Atlanta IP Inn of Court kicked of its 2013-14 year on September 11, hosted by Kilpatrick Townsend. Our evening began with a welcome and orientation for new members, followed by a relaxed, convivial reception with old members and new. The highlight of the night was our program, Ethical Issues in Doing Deals and Settling Suits, highlighting some ethical pitfalls and recent ABA and state bar decisions in the area of negotiation and settlement.
You can find the materials for this entertaining program, which revolved around an obsessively clean inventor's quest for the perfect (i.e., clean) hot dog, at this link.
We look forward to seeing our members at the next meeting!
